MacBornes is a cool, 2-player driving card game.
The objective of the game is to reach exactly 1,000 miles before your opponent does.
But your opponent (a computer or another human) is trying to do the same and will try to slow you down!
MacBornes has been created for the OMG Cup 2005.
The OMG (Original Mac Games) Cup is a new game programming contest established by iDevGames, in connection with Freeverse Software, to encourage unique Mac game development.
Enhancements:
- Network component completely rewritten. Playing using Bonjour or IP address is now much more reliable.
- Network games now follow the 700 miles rule. The first player to reach 700 miles can choose to continue or stop the hand.
- Scores for network games are now occurated and a bug causing a bad refresh of the scores has been fixed.
- Check if the port 2084 used by MacBornes for network games is open. This will be more easier to detect network configuration problems.
- Fix a bug causing some areas of the points view to not allow distance card with a drag and drop.
- Fix a memory bug, which could cause MacBornes to crash while playing.
- Added 2 set of cards thanks to Anthony Sigalas.
- Now display information about the author of set of sounds or cards.
- Preference to change the name of the human player.
- Preference to change the color of the cards left number.
- Some minor GUI improvements.
- Some minor bugs fixed.
