Trishear3D 3.4 description
Trishear3D is a tool designed to handle three-dimensional trishear models. Trishear3D uses the pseudo3D and true 3D algorithms of Cristallini and Allmendinger (2001), and Cristallini et al. (2004), respectively.
Trishear3D is freeware, but only for academic purposes. If you want to use the program for consulting, please contact me.
Version restrictions:
- This version cannot open files saved in versions older than 1.4.
Enhancements:
- Improve display of bounding box
- Drop the term in y of the velocity in y equation of the true-3D algorithm. This is mathematically incorrect (as it was in previous versions), but gives consistency at the upper and lower boundaries of the triangular zone of deformation. Bottom line: Be cautious when using the true-3D algorithm and having changes of slip along the tip line.
