Shion 2.0.1b1 is an effective application allowing you to implement portions of the INSTEON command set and allow users to build a list of devices that can be controlled remotely.
Shion manages your home by monitoring and controlling lamps, appliances, and other devices using your Apple Mac computer. Save your favorite environmental settings as snapshots and Shion will restore these environments on events such as sunrise & sunset, remote control presses, and prescheduled times.
This application (and driver) is currently under development and will be extended and completed as time permits. The long-term goal for Shion is to package it as a reusable framework for other MacOS X developers.
