miBookReader 1.0

miBookReader 1.0 is designed to aim at presenting multimedia interactive content created by miBookWriter. A user views and interacts with the content, the results are saved into a file which can then be examined and analyzed by interested parties such as teacher or trainer or the reader him/her self. The application works like a slideshow tool, but it can do a few things that a typical slideshow program does not do.

The key differences include that miBookReader (1) permits a user to interact with the presented content; (2) tracks user interactions; (3) scores user inputs against expected results; and (4) summarizes and visualizes collected answers.

1. Easy to use interface. Uncluttered presentation.
2. Support various view modes (page flow view, browser view and outline view) for viewing and accessing content.
3. Optional realtime feedback as questions are answered.
4. Built-in session timer to track time automatically as in a timed session or manually as audience sees fit.
5. Answers from audience are saved automatically into permanent session records which can be examined and analyzed later.
6. Built-in content browser and session browser to easily find content as well session files on user's computer.
7. View related session records together, chart the results for insights.
8. Support timed session. Handle expired content as appropriate.
9. Support full screen and non full screen presentations, switchable with one click.
10. Auto play content, in random page order and/or in loops.
11. Quick Look support for session records; press spacebar to viewed selected session record in Finder .
12. Support password protection of content. Login panel is presented when appropriate to gain access.
