iBible 2.6

iBible enables surfing for Bible chapters, verses and ranges of verses is as simple as a mouse click!
Main features:
- Quick jump to Bible verses

- Strongs Lexicon support lets you see what Bible words original definitions are
- Powerful search lets you look for words or phrases in as much -- or as little -- of the Bible as you want
- Powerful "Copy Formatted" feature lets you copy and paste Bible passages as you read them -- without carriage returns and verse numbers, and with the passage location automatically.
Version restrictions:
- 45 launches trial.
Enhancements:
- Preferences apply changes to open windows. Previously, windows would need to be closed for preferences changes to be applied.
- Hot-swapping of Bible versions. Previously, if a user with multiple versions of the Bible changed default versions in the Preferences dialog, restarting iBible was necessary. Now the new version loads while the program is running.
- VASTLY improved loading speed. iBible formerly took about 15 seconds to load on my PowerBook 1GHz G4. It now takes about one second.
- Search result count now displayed. Formerly iBible would display how many times a specified search string was found in the Bible. Subsequent versions deleted that feature for various reasons. 2.6 brings it back.
- Respecting the Dock. iBible is a Carbon application, which made it difficult to respect the dock location, thus windows would sometimes be behind the dock. 2.6 respects the dock.
- Added a version-checking system so users can see if they have the latest version of iBible, and prompts them to upgrade if a newer version is available online.
- FINALLY squashed a bug where opening new display windows would cause the second window to appear EXACTLY over the top of the first one. This was a heinous error to track down!
- Version pulldown menu in Preferences pane would not reflect the currently selected version. Fixed.
- Icon issues in various dialog boxes were fixed.
- About box now renders correctly.
