FractionAction X 0.9.1 is a useful software that can convert between rational fractions, decimals (with periodicity) and simple continued fractions within programs computational limits.
Also shows factors for fractions top and bottom (in reduced form with GCD [greatest common divisor]). Results not guaranteed (i.e. don't use results to help build your rocket ship, etc.): reports of errors welcomed. Not a tutorial on the functions.
Enhancements:
- Program simplified.
- Algorithms changed in some parts.
- Removed some functions: e.g. (a) divide the line, (b) fractions with simple square roots.
- Built for Intel and PowerPC (either/or, i.e. not universal).
- Direct download may be intel version.
Requirements: Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
