LinBuild is a free and open source Python-based, simple and user-friendly build system for C/C++ on Unix machines.
LinBuild adopts some concepts from Waf and CMake. LinBuild is simply a single script that depends only on Python. LinBuild replaces GNU Make and makes it really easy to configure, build & install a C/C++ project. LinBuild features automatic build dependency scanning of source files and multi-threaded build process.
NOTE: LinBuild is licensed and distributed under the terms of the GNU Library or Lesser General Public License (LGPL).

- Python-based build system / framework targeted for GNU gcc/g++
- Linbuild is a single redistributable Python script / executable that can be copied straightly into your project directory
- Completely replaces GNU Make
