Ubertragen 1.5 description
Ubertragen lets you transfer files via FTP to an FTP-Server or via Bonjour to another machine running Ubertragen on your local network.
The biggest advantage of this widget over all other widgets to transfer files (well, at least the ones we’ve seen) is that Übertragen doesn’t require an instance of the widget per target/server but that one instance of the widget handles all possible targets. No more cluttered Dashboards just because you transfer files to more than one server.
Directory structures are being maintained, "dot files" (except for .htaccess) are being ignored and your password is not stored in plain text anywhere but the widget uses your Keychain.
Enhancements:
- Bluetooth is now supported by Übertragen and you can now send files to your favorite Bluetooth devices with ease
- New design and a friendlier interface
- We improved Bonjour transfers significantly, big files are no longer an issue
- Again, lots of improvements and smaller bug fixes
