microPlayer is a compact and tiny Yahoo! widget and audio player intended to valuable desktop space. microPlayer can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, playlist files, or CD audio tracks.
You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Uses COM (WMPlayer.OCX). Tested on Windows XP Pro / Windows Media Player 9.
microPlayer is able to play MP3 (.mp3), WAVE (.wav), WMA (.wma), AIFF (.aif .aiff), and Sun/NeXT (.au .snd) sound files. Accepts Playlist File Formats M3U ("m3u"), WPL ("wpl") or WAX ("wax") containing valid media items.
Volume, balance and song seeking controls allow you to find and listen to the best parts of the music at a sound level to suit you. A handy mute option also provides silence on demand without stopping the music.
Click on the "On/Off" button to open or close the player. See the Help page in the right-click/Menu for details.
