A joint project with Warwick Emanuel, Degrees Down Under Widget displays the current temperature for locations around Australia, using data from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology website.
The widgets colour varies with the temperature, which can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Links take you to detailed observations on the Bureaus website. You can limit the refresh frequency to conserve your download allowance.
This widget is a Dashboard version of the Mac OS X application Degrees Down Under.
Enhancements:
- choice of actual or apparent temperature display
- updates to reflect changes to Bureaus website, including addition of separate Canberra and Darwin area pages.
