PassagePlus 1.4.3 description
PassagePlus is a passage planning and navigation application aimed at the leisure sailing market and is intended for the day/weekend coastal sailor. It uses the UK Hydrographic Offices ARCS charts for this purpose.
It has an uncluttered interface usable on a small laptop like a 12-inch iBook and a feature set restricted to those things that might be used frequently by this kind of user.
Version restrictions:
- Until you purchase a serial number it operates in demo mode, which means that it can only open the five demo charts that you can also download here. This should nevertheless give you a good idea of most of the features. The demo charts are fully-featured ARCS charts, but they are out of date and should not be used for actual navigation. For this reason GPS operation is disabled in demo mode.
