The goal of Invoice was to make a mac friendly application with all required features for mac users. This software uses the features of Mac OS X and is not a cross plattform application, which can not make use of OS specific features.
Style your own background with your favorite application like Pages, etc. and save it as PDF. Load the PDF as background for your invoice and add "autofields" (invoice nr., name, address, etc.) to the layout.
